• Seasonal release model — launching Q2 2022
  My Neighbor Alice new roadmap introduces and outlines several ‘Alpha Seasons’. Each will see us build out more of the My Neighbor Alice world in a testnet environment. The first Season will be launched in Q2 2022.
• Land Sales — more land sales are planned for Q3 and Q4 of 2022 and 2023

Why My Neighbor Alice needs a new roadmap?

As you all know, defining the scope of a gaming project in advance is a tricky business. My Neighbor Alice understands how much curiosity and anticipation there is among the game’s fans and believes this roadmap will help them get a clear view of the game  progress and milestones — but also of the time and care My Neighbor Alice put into developing the features, art, components, and characters.

The game’s core mechanics, components, and features all have to be developed for the blockchain. It means that My Neighbor Alice is no longer working within the confines of traditional game design but is instead exploring the uncharted shores of blockchain gaming. My Neighbor Alice dev team needs to make sure that everything they do works in a self-sustained, secure, and decentralized way. Over time, My Neighbor Alice will transition to a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

Consistent progress has been made, and My Neighbor Alice delivery estimates are becoming increasingly accurate. The team will continue communicating with the community regularly to reflect on the current state of development.

What have devs been working on?

My Neighbor Alice strengthened and expanded their team to meet the long-term build quality standards they are aiming for. In the last three months, the Alice team grew by 100% on both the development and operations sides — making Alice team the largest, most talented, and diverse it has ever been.

Along with the bolstering of the personnel, My Neighbor Alice executive team has charted a new course for the project that has a realistic timeline, contains more incremental milestones, and most importantly raises the bar in terms of final build quality and playability.

My Neighbor Alice is dedicated to delivering a high-quality game and is more excited than ever for the world they are creating together with the growing team. Furthermore, they feel confident the roadmap is robust.

What’s next?

The roadmap outlines several ‘Alpha Seasons’. Each will build out more of the My Neighbor Alice world in a testnet environment until the completion of the game and mainnet (aka public) launch.

Alice team intends to hit the ground running with the launch of the ‘Alpha Seasons’ model in Q2 2022. Each new season will have its share of upgrades, incremental improvements, and additional components until the teams’s vision for My Neighbor Alice is fully realized with the full launch of the mainnet game.
